The Cleaner Air Oregon rulemaking is a partnership between Oregon Health Authority and Oregon Department of Environmental Quality to develop a new regulatory system for managing air toxics from industrial sources. During the rulemaking process, OHA and DEQ have utilized a Technical Workgroup, and will engage an Advisory Committee. In addition, Regional Forums will be held to engage the public at four locations around the state. DEQ will also hold a public comment period on the proposed rules in 2017.
